During your first visit with us, you will meet with your kind and compassionate therapist and go over some basic personal information. A comprehensive diagnostic assessment will then be conducted, with attention to developmental, emotional, cognitive, and social components.
At Advent Family Psychology, we recognize that each patient has their own unique set of circumstances, so we utilize all of the diagnostic tools at our disposal in order to compile a complete and accurate assessment. Your therapist may have you fill out questionnaires when necessary to aid in the assessment process.
Once we complete the assessment, we will explain and discuss any relevant diagnoses. Please feel free to ask any questions or bring up any concerns you may have. We pride ourselves on transparency and patient communication. Once we have discussed your situation, we can work together to develop any treatment plans needed.
